The enthusiasm in the Class of 2021 Facebook page is off the charts, so we decided to bring back our “Tell Us About Yourself(ie)” series, which will highlight profiles of incoming students in the Class of 2021 from now until August Orientation.
If you are a member of Champlain’s Class of 2021 and are interested in sharing your selfie, check out how at the bottom of this post.

Why did you choose Champlain?
I wanted to design games. I always have and always will. When I went on a tour of the campus, I saw people LARPing in the courtyard and I thought: “This is where I belong.”
What’s a poster you’ll definitely be hanging in your res hall room?
A poster signed by the owner of Dark Horse Comics. It’s a poster for the comic series Star Wars: Crimson Empire. The series is phenomenal, and I like Star Wars a little too much.
Physical book or e-book?
Physical. It may be weird, but it’s the smell that does it for me, lol.
What’s your go-to jam song?
“Sabotage” —Beastie Boys
If you were a soda, what kind would you be?
What’s your favorite breakfast food?
Which celebrity would you most like to meet?
Honestly, the Dalai Lama. I understand he may not be a conventional celebrity, but I would love to talk with him about his life and faith.
If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Describe your life goals in five words or less:
To make something people enjoy.
What’s something not many people know about you?
I’ve designed two role-playing games, two board games, a monopoly expansion and a trading card game.
