The enthusiasm in the Class of 2021 Facebook page is off the charts, so we decided to bring back our “Tell Us About Yourself(ie)” series, which will highlight profiles of incoming students in the Class of 2021 from now until August Orientation.
If you are a member of Champlain’s Class of 2021 and are interested in sharing your selfie, check out how at the bottom of this post.

Our motto is “Let Us Dare.” What was the last thing you dared to do?
In my Instagram bio, it says, “dare to create” because that’s what I do on the daily basis. I try my best to create works of art that are not typically what I like to do to try and broaden my horizons and gain more experience.
Do you have any quirky study habits?
If I need to memorize something, I tend to make songs because it’s easier for me to memorize song lyrics.
If you could be any fictional character—book, TV, or movie—who would you be and why?
I would play Cher in Clueless simply because her wardrobe is amazing, and it’s one of my favorite movies.
What’s your Netflix binge series?
Freaks and Geeks, Stranger Things, Orange is the New Black and Gilmore Girls.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would have the power of telekinesis…cause I’m lazy.
What’s your favorite breakfast food?
Jelly toast, because I’m actually 80 years old.
Which celebrity would you most like to meet?
Helena Bonham Carter.
If you could be any mythical creature, what would you be and why?
A Phoenix, because you’d technically never die.
What’s the #1 item on your bucket list?
Visit every major league baseball stadium: I’ve already been to 12 of them.
Marvel or DC? Why?
Marvel. 100% And why? Um. Thor. And Loki. That’s why.
