Usually when you think of school dances, you think of middle school, MAYBE high school, definitely not college. Most of us already did the prom thing, the homecoming thing, basically all of the school dances that were the thing to do in our younger years. So naturally, when you hear that a college is having a dance, you become a little skeptical, right?
On Thursday, Feb. 4, student organization CHAMP, will be hosting the annual Snowball dance at Hilton Burlington from 9 p.m. til midnight. Time-and-time again Snowball proves to be one of the most popular and attended event throughout the school year.
I mean, why wouldn’t it be? This year’s enCHAMPted Forest theme sets the scene for students to live life in a real life fairytale. Also, the classic chocolate fountain, delicious food, photo booth, and dancing makes for an awesome night with friend.
Sometimes a special night with the people who mean the most to you is exactly what you need to get out of your mid-winter blues.
Tickets are $5 at the HUB before the event, and $10 at the door. Students are allowed to bring one non-Champlain student for an additional $5 at the HUB (the Champlain student has to buy their ticket prior to the event).
Transportation will be provided to and from campus from the Maple Street Shuttle all night long, starting at 8:45 PM!
