Champlain College’s annual Spring Career Fair will be held on Monday, March 30 in the Argosy Gymnasium from 1:30-5 p.m. The fair will offer students the opportunity to make a connection with more than 80 employers offering full-time and part-time jobs, internships, seasonal employment opportunities, networking leads, and many other resources. There is going to be something for everyone.
Alumni-founded companies like Gametheory, JDDesign, and Willington Design & Print; leading Vermont companies such as Dealer.com, Fuse, MyWebGrocer, National Life Group, and WB Mason; area non-profits including ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center and the Community Sailing Center; and out-of-state employers Mullen, EdgeRock Technology Partners, and Dell SecureWorks are just a few of the organizations sending representatives to our campus. There will be some familiar faces at the tables as many reps are graduates of Champlain College.
For the full list, go to the special Fair webpage and click on “Participating Employers.”
While the Career Fair is aimed at Champlain’s graduating seniors and other students seeking internships for the summer or fall, the College believes that having it open to all students and the general public creates a realistic scenario for students to experience the competitive nature of finding a job. Before attending, it is strongly recommended by the Career Services team that students research participating organizations ahead of time and plan their strategy.
In order to prepare for the Fair, students have the option of attending one of the upcoming workshops facilitated by the Career Services staff themselves with help from various Peer Advisors. Workshops will be held on these dates:
- Create a Professional Resume: Wednesday, March 25, 5-6 p.m., Garden House 103
- Prepare for the Fair: Wednesday, March 25, 7-8 p.m., Garden House 103

Organizers recommend that students remember to dress for success in suitable business attire, bring copies of a current resume and reference list, and be ready to sell yourself!
